mid autumn festival
Had a mini picnic at east coast park. Played with mini lanterns as well.
it's a very windy night and we had a hard time trying to light up the lanterns. Actually burning of lanterns is more fun.

Bangkok Day 3
overslept for our breakfast. Spent an hour packing our luggage before leaving them with the hotel and went for more shopping and pampering.Our breakfast. Cheesy Chicken from Auntie Anne.

off to siam area.i went for a spa manicure and pedicure, while Lionel went for a full body massage.
My mani and pedi were quite lousy and expensive.

Leaving Bangkok
Bangkok Day 2
Started the day with breakfast at the hotel.
Food was average but it was lacking in variety.Roof top of the hotelTuk Tuk is quite a convenient way to travel aroundthe first stop ~ Platinum Mall. It's a little like far east plaza but more massive. 7 floors packed with small shops. They have lots of clothes, bags, accessories and shoes for girls.Shopping bags. We even bought a trolley bag for our loot.Lunch at Fuji restaurant.Tuktuk our way to siam square.didn't have much time to explore the area.
Went back to the hotel to get a quick shower before cabbing to our third shopping spot.Suan Lum Night Bazaar.Anyway, cab fares are cheap but remember to ask them to turn on the meter.Shopped a little.Dinner at the open air food court.Ordered too much again. Poor Lionel is always the one finishing the food as i like variety but only eat a bit.Our legs were very tired by then so we had foot massage at Suan Lum itself before going back. :)
Our loot for 2 days. Lionel is a certified shopaholic. Bangkok has very little guys stuffs and yet he bought more stuffs than me.

20 Sep.
Did last min packing the night before. Slept for 2 hours before leaving for the airport at 430am.
First time at the no frills budget terminal.
After 2 hours, we arrived at the Land of Smiles.

Tried the boat noodles in CTC itself. It's very spicy but very good!

We needed a spot to rest so we went for a massage. had a foot , head and shoulder massage in a couple room. so comfortable that we dozed off.
back to the hotel to freshen up and change for chilling out at the state tower.

This time it was at an Italian Restaurant at Jalan Besar.
Food is average. nothing to rave. Ambience and service is not bad.
Our birthday cake was Apple Crumble Cheesecake made with love from dearest Sian. Thanks for the super yummy cheesecake that got me lemming for more.

Watch Bride wars... It's pretty much of a chick flick. Watch with your girl friends. We shopped a little in town but went back empty handed. Only the shopping queen bought the most. 2 bottles of perfume and ermmm... i cant remember.
Anyway, i am so getting the chloe perfume we happened to came across. it is love at 1st
sightsmell though I am not so much of a perfume person and can never finish even half a bottle.ended our day with dinner at xing wang Hk cafe. The papaya meehoon soup with char siew and wanton is love!
