Koh Samui

Day 1:
Departure

i wouldnt waste my chance to eat Popeyes'

uSqueeze. No wonder Changi airport is ranked one of the best airports in the world.

Day 2:

Breakfast by the beach... Nice and relaxing.

Tom yam goong, Phat thai, Green curry and beef with basil leaves. Super good can.

since it was still pretty early, we went kayaking...

Super good thai massage at a place near our resort. they are really pro. the name of the place is "my friends" or something.

Romantic dinner by the beach

sumptuous seafood. Oysters, crab, fish, tiger prawns. the seafood is really fresh.

Day 3:

a day for Snorkeling

Had to walk to the speed boat. =p

after 1 hr 50 mins of rocky and wet boat ride

we reached Mango Bay.

look at the resorts on the "rock formations". i have no idea what those things are known as. I am not a geography student man.

Lunch at Koh Tao. our tour guide is the one in blue in the background.

Beautiful place

Clear water but the sand are super coarse.

Time to return to Koh Samui

Went back to the resort to change into dry clothes...

back at the town area to do a little shopping

but seriously, there is nothing much.

Dinner time

Seafood soup. (suspected culprit why we were unwell the following day)

Shopped along a market by the river... nothing to buy already...

Gambling in the night market... it is something like Roulette. I played a short while.

Ended the day with more massage...

Day 4:

Breakfast at the main chaweng town area again

the Spag carbonara is pretty good

was a little unwell so... i had porridge soup. whatever funny way they call it.

Last minute pampering.
I did manicure and pedicure while Lionel had a foot massage.

Samui Airport

The departure hall looks like a resort... Open and free.

Killed some time at Swensens playing mastermind.

goodbye Samui

i am missing the laid back feeling of the island... where everyone is so friendly and genuine. At least that's what i felt.
